PB Banana Wrap

I actually prepared this PB Banana Wrap for our packed snacks during our family picnic to Picnic Groove in Tagaytay City. It’s an experiment though but its really a big hit. Healthy and yummy! Promise!

PB Banana Wrap

(Makes 10 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 10 large whole wheat tortilla
  • 5 banana
  • Honey-sweetened peanut spread
  • Red Mung beans
  • Canola or vegetable oil
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon

Optional Dip:

  • Honey-sweetened peanut spread
  • Chocolate chips

 

Directions:

  1. Lay the tortilla on a flat surface and spread the peanut butter over it.
  2. Slice the banana in half and place in the center of the tortilla.
  3. Spread a spoonful of red mung beans on top of the sliced banana.
  4. Roll up the tortilla and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Deep fry the tortilla and roll over sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  6. For optional dip, microwave peanut butter and chocolate chips mixture.
  7. Serve hot.

Note:

No specific amount required for peanut butter, red mung beans and chocolate chip. The more the better, depending on your preference.
